A while back, WireTap featured a young vigilante rap artist by the name of Rap Master Maurice. I since have become addicted to his rap service, in which he’ll call someone up at your request and rap at them about how they’ve done you wrong. For instance, my roommate Stef, seen here on the right, can be pretty loud when she comes into our apartment late at night, so she received this earful. [Being the versatile rapper that he is, Maurice also offers friendly raps (for an extra fee), like this one he sent to my friend Allie, seen here on the left]. In any case, I highly recommend his services if you’ve got a bone to pick with someone. It can be quite satisfying.

My dad and my little documentary, pilgrIMAGE, is premiering in Montreal at my favourite film festival, the Festival du Nouveau Cinema.

We shot it when I was just a wee young thing of 19, so it’s pretty embarrassing but if you’re curious, come check it out! I’d love some company.

Over three years in the making, the feature road-trip doc I have been producing with my dad, pilgrIMAGE, is finally finished! It’s premiering at IDFA this week in Amsterdam, so if you happen to be in the neighbourhood, check it out. I unfortunately won’t be able to make it, as I’m trying to be ecologically responsible and avoid air travel, but Peter Wintonick will be there to answer any questions and/or have a beer with you.
